Good spread of topics: VPN routes, load balancer behavior, and DNS resolution in multi-account setups. The wording varied enough that I had to track the exact constraints in each scenario.
Moderate difficulty overall. I liked the focus on network segmentation, AWS Network Firewall, and troubleshooting asymmetric routing, because those topics forced careful reading instead of quick guessing.
Useful, but some items felt narrower than I expected. The sections on Route 53 failover and hybrid connectivity were the best part; the ACL and security group questions were easier than the later ones.
Covers Transit Gateway routing, BGP over Direct Connect, and VPC peering tradeoffs. A few questions made me slow down and map the packet flow before answering.
No. We write original exam-style practice questions that cover the same domains and skills as the official exam guide. We don't sell copies of real exam questions.
65 multiple choice and multiple response questions in 170 minutes. 15 of them are unscored. You take it at a test center or online with a proctor.
A scaled score of 750 out of 1,000.
Yes. AWS says the last day to take it is December 31, 2026. Certifications earned before then stay valid for the usual three years.
Take a test, then read the explanation for every question you miss. Many questions turn on routing details, so learn how Transit Gateway, Direct Connect and VPN pick a route.
